The Oceans and Health
By Richeal Wheeler
It’s interesting how our bodies are 70% water and the Earth is also 70% water, yet we attempt to get 100% of our nutrition from the Earths 30% land mass.
“The future of nutrition is found in the ocean” – Jacques Cousteau
“Marine Phytoplankton, is one of the most rare ingredients on the planet because it contains, in a concentrated form, almost everything you need for life or the rebuilding of a healthy life” says Jerry Tennant, MD head of the Tennant Institute of Intergrative Medicine in Dallas.
“Marine Phytoplankton is an ideal food for mankind. It’s Mother Earth’s milk from the ocean. The research we are designing at the University of Utah Medical School test and health benefist of Marine Phytoplankton is very exciting and promising” Dr. Hugo Rodier, MD Nutrition professor at University of Utah Medical School.
So, what is Marine Phytoplankton?
Phyto=”light/Plant” Plankton=”floating/Suspended”
Scientists at NASA theorize that some 3 ½ billion years ago, the world was changed forever. The appearance of tiny organisms with the ability to convert sunlight, warmth, water and minerals into protein, carbohydrates, vitamins and amino acids marked the beginning of life. Marine Phytoplankton, the single-celled plants, are the basis of all other life forms on planet earth, they are the “vegetation” of the ocean. Marine Phytoplankton, single-celled plants, are consumed by the smallest forms of life up to the largest. Whales that feed on plankton and krill are known to live up to 200 years. Marine phytoplankton are responsible for making up to 90% of Earths oxygen.
So, it would seem that we must protect and honor our future in the oceans. It truly is saving our lives. Now is the time for a new beginning. Today is what we have.
Benefits of Marine Phytoplankton are:
§ Promotes General Nutrition
§ Nourishes Eyes & Nerves
§ Promotes Cardiovascular health
§ Supports Normal Cholesterol Levels
§ Promots Normal Blood Sugar Levels
§ Supports the Liver
§ Promotes Healthy Skin
§ Provides Energy
§ Supports Immune System
WOW! All this and there is more. The oceans have lots of sea vegetables like marine Fucus, also called Kelp/Bladderwrack, and all kinds of algae. Again supporting Immune and nervous systems. Fucus has been used for centuries in Europe for weight management and to stimulate lymphatic circulation. Recent studies have shown that focus promotes healthy tissue growth, stimulates the immune system and helps maintain balance in blood glucose leves.
So, my motto is “Stay healthy and feel good, then you can do good”. Get educated on natural health. God gave us the oceans and land, and all the foods that grow on this beautiful planet called Earth. It is for our good, and the good of all that we honor the planet and its fruits that it so beautifully bears for us. It’s time to come back into harmony with All and really In-Joy this experience to the fullest! Health Abounds!
May all that you are and give, be all that you receive and be!
Nothin’ But Love
